Moe completed his Bachelors of Science at the University of Ottawa in 2012 in biopharmaceutical sciences specializing in medicinal chemistry. His honours thesis was conducted under the mentorship of Dr. Maxim Berezovski where he developed a patented aptamer selection method for the purification of oncolytic viruses. He went on to pursue his doctoral studies at the University of British Columbia under Dr. Marcel Bally where he developed a platform liposome loading technology enabling the development of copper based therapeutics. His research focuses on improving cancer therapy through identifying drug combinations and developing translational drug delivery systems. Moe joined the Wilson lab in 2018 to develop polymeric delivery systems to improve the residence time and efficacy of immunotherapeutics. His postdoctoral fellowship is supported by the Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR).
